Acceptable Use Policy
Cancelbox is built to save customers, not trap them. This policy is the line you cannot cross.
Cancelbox, Inc. · Questions: legal@cancelbox.co
1. You must
- Keep a visible, usable path to cancellation on every route.
- Show the exact price, date, and change before a subscriber accepts.
- Use Stripe as the system of record for money movement.
- Honor the subscriber’s choice if they continue cancelling.
- Keep test and live Stripe data separate.
- Comply with consumer-protection, e-commerce, and cancellation laws that apply to your business, including cooling-off and notice rules in your markets.
2. You may not
- Use Cancelbox as a dark pattern: fake urgency, hidden buttons, confirm-shaming, or infinite loops.
- Misrepresent an accepted click as a confirmed save.
- Ask Cancelbox users or subscribers for a Stripe secret key or card number to paste into Cancelbox.
- Probe, scrape, or attack the service, other workspaces, or Stripe accounts you do not own.
- Upload unlawful content, malware, or another person’s personal data without a lawful basis.
- Use the service to discriminate unlawfully or to process special-category data unless you have a valid basis and have configured the workspace accordingly—Cancelbox is not designed for health, biometric, or children’s data.
- Resell Cancelbox access except under an Agency plan that expressly allows client workspaces.
- Bypass plan limits by creating sham workspaces to evade session caps.
3. Enforcement
We may investigate reports, limit features, suspend a workspace, or terminate an account. We may also refuse a billing action that would violate this policy. Report abuse to legal@cancelbox.co. If you are a subscriber stuck in a flow, continue cancelling on that page, then contact the company whose name appears on it. Cancelbox will not hide that path.
